MRS. Jeanie Matranga
Mrs. Matranga, an educator for over thirty years, has directed the Grizzly Academy satellite campus of Calvary Chapel Christian School since 1988. Her teaching experience includes elementary through high school, Bible college, and English as a second language. A pastor's wife for over twenty-five years, she has two children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Besides Jesus and family, her passion is to help others reach their God-given potential and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Guiding parents who sense the calling to manage their children's education in a Christ-centered setting helps fulfill this passion and God's purpose for her life. She is called to minister to women through Biblical guidance and women's studies. Her compass for navigating this world is John 8:29, "And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father has not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him."
Mrs. Shirley Metz
Shirley Metz has been employed by Calvary Chapel Christian School for over 25 years serving both the church and the school. All three of her children were schooled at home and graduated from Calvary Chapel Christian School-Grizzly Academy where she served as both the Department Secretary and Parent-Teacher Master Teacher over the years. After the graduation of her last child, the opportunity arose for Shirley to teach 3rd Grade at Calvary Chapel Christian School. She taught for 8 years. The Lord directed her back to the Grizzly Academy to assume the position of Master Teacher where she serves to this day. Shirley is grateful to be able to work part-time and spend her free time with her grandchildren, ages 3-10.
