Club America invites you to join them for their upcoming event this Friday 2/27 at Lunch in Room 210 with guest speaker, Coach Eric Lopez who will be sharing his experiences in serving our country in the United States Marines. Lunch will be provided. 

FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE: Please join us for a very special “Boots and Bows”, Father-Daughter Event on Friday, February 27 at 6pm in the Main Foyer. Girls in grades K-6th and their fathers or special guest can enjoy an evening with appetizers, desserts, crafts, photo booth, and dancing. To register, please visit ccdowney.com/events. Spirit Points Updates!  After Valentine's Day, the totals for Spirit Points are:

 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

JH Daycare: JH students, if you arrive at school before 7:30am, you must sign-in to Daycare. If you need to go to Daycare after school, you must sign-in by 2:45pm. JH students may not wander the hallways before or after school.

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

College Visits: 2/24 Cerritos College

Parking Permits: Attention student drivers!  If you are currently driving to school, you must fill out a parking permit application and submit it to the Office. Applications are available in the High School Office, on the rack adjacent to the front doors.

SENIORS

Awake Coffee Shop is having its grand opening on Sunday, March 1st,  and you know what that means!? Seniors who have filled in the permission slip for visiting Awake Coffee Shop will be able to head over during their lunch beginning the week of 3/9.  So, visit the school office and pick up your form today! Please Note the coffee shop will be closed on Mondays.

Scholarship Opportunities: Seniors, make sure you are regularly checking the Senior Hallway bulletin board (outside Pastor Roger’s office) for up-to-date college information.

· Seniors Going to Israel!: Risher Mortuary & Cremation Scholarship: $500 scholarship available, see Mrs. Naaktgeboren for more details or check out the email that was sent to your parents. Deadline for resume and essay submission is March 15.
