GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Summer School 2024: This summer we are planning to offer Fundamentals of Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry. Summer school is an option for students to improve/make-up their math grade advance in math or to advance in math. Summer school dates are 6/10 – 7/19 (6 weeks) from 8am-12pm. If you are interested in signing up for summer school, fill out and return the registration form to the JH/HS office. Registrations forms were emailed to your parents and are also available for pick up in the JH/HS office. Applications are due on or before Mon., 6/3 with full payment. JunioR HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Cold Weather Apparel: With the weather cooling down, we’d like to remind our families that students must wear CCCS logo jackets only. Students may not wear any other sweatshirt, or jacket over their CCCS polo. To help keep our students warm, they may also wear a solid long-sleeved burgundy, white, or black shirt or turtleneck under their CCCS polo shirt. Please label each jacket with your child’s name. Thank you for your cooperation!
End of the Year 8th Grade Events:
· Gown Distribution: 8th graders will pick up their gowns Fri., 5/17 after school in Pastor Chris’s classroom (room 108). If you have any questions, see Mrs. Cotton.
· Group Photo/Promotion Practice (Last Day of School 5/23): 8th graders will drop off gowns by the 8th grade lockers upon arrival at school & pick up your gown after school in the foyer with your uniform polo under the gown for the Group Photo. Immediately following the group photo practice will take place until approximately 3-4pm.
· Promotion will take place on Wed., 5/29 at 1pm in the main sanctuary.

Chapel Café is operating under new hours: Wednesdays 11am-7pm and Sundays 8am-4pm
Parking Permits: Attention student drivers! If you are currently driving to school, you must fill out a parking permit application and submit it to the Office. Applications are available in the High School Office, on the rack adjacent to the front doors.

· Senior Journey Boards due Fri., 5/3 to the JH/HS Office.
· Graduation Cap & Gown Distribution Day: Fri., 5/10 in Mr. Nuño’s class after school.
· Senior Walk & Cap & Gown Group Photo 5/17 - Check-in at 7:45am in front of the Main Foyer. Come in your cap and gown!
· Grad Night Thu., 5/23 – permission slips are due to Mr. Nuño
· Graduation Practice 5/28 – This is mandatory practice. Check-in at 12:30pm at the glass doors next to the office. Practice will end between 3pm-4pm. Bring the shoes you will be wearing at Graduation, but do not bring your cap or gown!
· Senior Showcase/Recognition Day 5/30 – Main Foyer doors open at 8am for the Journey Board Displays, coffee, refreshments, and pastries. The awards presentation will start at 9am in the Main Sanctuary.
· Graduation 5/31 – Seniors will check-in at 1pm at the glass doors next to the office. Come in your cap & gown and leave personal belongings with your family. The ceremony will start promptly at 2pm.
· Diploma/Transcript Pick-up 6/28
