ACSI ELEMENTARY CHOIR FESTIVAL will be held here at the CCCS Main Sanctuary THIS Friday, March 29 at 7pm. There is no admission fee for this event. We hope to see many of our CCCS family and friends at the festival to cheer on our Elementary Choir as they compete in the festival!
Fall 2019 sophomores, juniors and seniors: Grand Canyon University is offering a summer camp. Stop by the college board in the hallway to review the different programs offered at this camp.
Attention Juniors & Seniors: Students may not do ‘promposal’ invites during the school day. All invites of this type must take place before or after school.
HIGH SCHOOL girls interested in CHEER for next year please get registered on ATHLETICCLEARANCE.com and turn in your confirmation page along with a current physical to the Athletic Office. If you have questions, please see Coach Antoinette or the Athletic Office. Everything is due to the Athletic Office on or before April 1st. All paperwork/registration needs to be completed and turned in before try outs, starting on April 2nd.

Juniors and Seniors: HIU is holding a preview day called “Hope After Hours”. This event will take place on Thurs. 4/4 from 6pm to 8:30pm. The college board in the hallway has more information.
SAT 10 Testing 7th - 11th Grade Students: Testing will take place Mon., 4/8 – Thurs., 4/11. Attendance is required since there are no make ups for the tests. You need to be on time for school; do your best on the test, eat a good breakfast and get a good night’s sleep! There will be no make-up.

Rising Runners Spring Sprint: Friday, April 12th at 10:00 am at Liberty Park in Cerritos.
Summer School: This summer we are planning to offer Fundamentals of Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry. Summer school is an option for students to advance in math or to improve/make-up their math grade. Summer school is 6/3 – 7/12 from 8am-12pm. If you are interested in signing up for summer school you can pick up a registration form in the JH/HS office registration forms are due on or before Fri., 5/24. For more information you can contact see Mrs. Cotton.
New titles in the Library: Those of you interested in robotics we have a new series “World of Robots” which covers different types of robots from Military to Factory. We also have a new fiction series “free Rein” which is based off the Netflix series. Be sure to stop by and check them out.
Seniors: if you have been accepted to Cal State Long Beach, you need to look into the University Honors Program and see if you qualify. Stop by the college board in the hallway for more information.
Seniors: information about scholarships for athletes through NCAA has been added to the college board in the hallway. Stop by the hallway and pick up a flyer.
JH students, you cannot wear Joggers, this is your warning. If you decide to wear them, you will serve a detention after school.
Summer daycamp for CCCS students enrolled in 1st-8th Grade for the 2019/2020 School-Year. The camp will run June 3-July 26 from 6:30am-5:30pm. Last day to sign up is May 31st.
Grizzly Academy Celebration Night: May 16th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the MAIN Sanctuary.
Summer Teacher’s Training: June 27th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the South Sanctuary. More information to follow. This will be for parent-teacher’s only.
Exiting Campus: All HS students must exit campus through the red gate or HS office. No HS students are allowed to walk through the elementary unless you are picking up a younger sibling in elementary school. In that case, please wait by the pick-up gate only. The elementary area is not to be used as a quicker access to the Chapel Cafe for anyone.
